Elmer (Bud) Lohmann

Bud, a native of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, relocated to Waverly, New York, in 1960.  He received training, as a youth, in the Philadelphia area and has produced art and photography most of the years since.

After retiring from the world of business, he has become active full time in both these areas. Pastel painting is his favorite and primary medium, but he also works in Aquarelle, Prismcolor, oil pastel, Conte, charcoal, and graphite.  He uses photography to obtain subject matter for painting and as a secondary art form.

He is presently showing his work at the Crooked River Artisan Co-op in Waverly and during the month of February 2014 at the Tioga County Council on the Arts in Owego, along with four other family members.
