The art world has been good to me, as I started my “love” at the age of six designing my own paper dolls.
After winning “gold keys” for art in high school, I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for advertising. I created folders and brochures for 22 local businesses. I then became art director of Riger Advertising Agency for five years. I joined Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier in 1949 and have been President twice.
I paint in four mediums, and have been lucky to have won thirty-four awards. I also traveled the U.S. in my motorhome, painting as I went …. It was great!
Soon, I started teaching workshops for various art associations, and I still do. I am proud to be a signature member of the Central New York Watercolor Society. I also studied with many nationally known artists through “painting Holidays.” My home gallery and studio is open to you all.
My thanks to all of you who have attended my workshops over the years; paint on!
