Vivian moved to the triple cities thirty-five years ago, and was busy raising a family. She has been inspired by several artists in the area, and has taken workshops with Marian Simpson, Doreen Spoor, Audrey Lanseidel, Barbara Shope, and Richard Henry. She is a member of the watercolor classes at the Endicott Library and Johnson City Senior Center. She also belongs to the Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier. She has painted in all mediums, but watercolor is her favorite
